Bulls vs Knicks Preview 02/01/2021

The New York Knicks (9-12) travel to Chicago to take on the Chicago Bulls (7-11) tonight.

The Bulls are coming off a heartbreaking buzzer beater loss to the Portland Trailblazers after Damian Lillard hit a step back 3 pointer as time expired.  The Bulls trailed by as many as 19 points until they went on a run and secured a 5 point lead off of 2 Coby White free throws until the Blazers knocked down 2 3’s of their own to claim victory.  Lauri Markkanen led the Bulls with 31 points and 6-11 for 3’s, with Lavine adding 26 and White chipping in 20 points.

Zach Lavine leads the Bulls with 26.9 ppg and hope to take down the Knicks in a very winnable game.  The Bulls will be playing the Knicks twice this week and twice against the Magic in hopes to climb the standings.  Wendell Carter Jr. will still be absent for the next few weeks and the Bulls will require ample ball movement and team defense to pull off a victory tonight.
Tonight’s game will be at 7 PM CST at the United Center.
