Chicago Bulls NBA Draft 2020 Recap

The Chicago Bulls finish the 2020 NBA Draft with these selections:
Patrick Williams 4th Overall Pick:
Honestly don’t know much about this player. This was a complete surprise. I honestly thought the Bulls would select Deni Avdija or Obi Toppin.
Patrick Williams is 6 foot 8 inches forward coming out of Florida State. He has a 6-11 Wingspan and considered to be one of the draft’s best athletes. Known for his lockdown defense, he is versatile and has remnants of Khahi Leonard.
During college, he was not a starter, averaging only 9.2 points per game. His shooting was not as strong and his Assist to Turnover Ratio (29-50) looks pretty horrific. This pick looks like it was based on his raw talent with huge upside!
This pick does fit in the scheme of the new regime of AK. Hopefully WIlliams grows into a role for Otto Porter Jr as a two way wing.
The other notable picks here Marko Simonović at 44th and also signing Kansas point guard Devon Dotson as an undrafted free agent
On Draft night, there was a slight confusion. As the 44th pick was drafted, twitter was having a field day! When you Google Marko Simonović, a 34 year old Serbian player pops up. At that point, all of Chicago almost threw in the towel.
At the end of the day, AK has still time to prove us wrong. Regardless of the picks and the surprises, we can’t be a #FireGarPAX guy and also hate this. Give AK some time, and then let’s evaluate.
