Chicago Bulls Take Down the Charlotte Hornets

The Chicago Bulls (7-8) defeated the Charlotte Hornets (6-9) 123-110 for their first 3 game winning streak in 2 years. Zach Lavine led the way with 25 points (on a very efficient 8 of 12 shooting), 9 assists, and 6 rebounds while continuing to highlight his new found all around game this season. Lauri Markkanen scored 23 points and Coby White added 18 points and 8 assists. Gordon Hayward had a game high 34 points for the Hornets, while Devonte Graham scored a season high 24 points (and was lights out with 22 points in the first half).
The Bulls had the lead a majority of the game but the Hornets managed to make it a 6 point game in the final 4 minutes of the game. The Bulls then reeled off a run of their own behind the efforts of Markkanen, Thaddeus Young, and Lavine to comfortably make it a double digit game.
The ball movement for the Bulls was spectacular to watch with the Bulls having 33 assists. Billy Donovan really has this team sharing the ball and having the team buy into the system. Lavine is still the motor behind this teams success, he only shot 12 shots today but still ended up with 25 points and his court vision is improving game to game. He is really elevating the level of play from his teammates (a sign of a great player).
The Bulls are back at it tonight against Lebron James, Anthony Davis, and the Los Angeles Lakers.
