Chicago Bulls vs Washington Wizards Preview - 02/08/2021

Bulls Look for 2 Wins in a Row Against the Wizards
The Chicago Bulls (9-13) are coming off a split from a two game series against the Orlando Magic and take on the Washington Wizards (5-15). The Bulls put on an offensive show against the Magic with Zach Lavine putting up his best case for an all-star selection with 39 points. Lauri Markkanen has been ruled out for multiple weeks due to a shoulder injury and with Wendell Carter Jr. still out with injury, the Bulls are going to be without their starting front court for the foreseeable future. This will require more contribution from Daniel Gafford and Christiano Felicio.
The Wizards are led by their offensive star, Bradley Beal, who leads the NBA in scoring with 33.2 ppg. Russel Westbrook is a game time decision during tonight’s game. Lavine will need to be assertive again from the get go, especially with the Bulls constantly finding themselves in a hole to start every game. He was especially aggressive against the Magic scoring double figures right out of the gate. The Bulls won a 2 game series against the Wizards in December and are rested with a home game, while the Wizards are playing on a back-to-back.
Tonight’s game will be at 7 PM CST.
