Chicago Cubs Vs Milwaukee Brewers Series Finale 07/26/2020

The Chicago Cubs faced the Milwaukee Brewers for series finale. Tyler Chatwood faced Freddy Peralta.

It was an amazing start for Chatwood, and with the combination of a HUGE 4th inning, this gave the Cubs the edge to win the series.

Kyle Schwarber double in the 2nd inning and scored Jason Hayward. Wilson Contreras double home. Peralta was taken out and replaced by Corey Knebel. Hoerner Caratini and Ian Happ hit consecutive singles to build a 5-0 lead.

Chatwood allowed only 1 run in the 6 innings he pitched. In the 7th, it became somewhat of a home run derby! Contreras and Rizzo went yard off former cub Justin Grimm.

Key Takeaway:

Winning the series against the division rival is a great start! Need to keep the momentum going!
