Chicago White Sox 7/26/22 Game Recap: White Sox 2 - Rockies 1

White Sox are over .500 for the first time in two months. They were 22-21 on the morning of May 26th.

The White Sox defeat the Rockies 2-1 Starting Pitcher Michael Kopech pitched a shut out through the 6th inning.  The Sox win their 3rd straight.

Yasmani Grandal had three hits with help from Yoán Moncada who doubled home Adam Engel in the seventh.

Liam Hendriks was the closer. He got a save which was pretty shaky In the top of the 9th, Ryan McMahon hit a leadoff homer. Hendriks has allowed at least one run in each of his last three outings.

As for Colorado, not a good performance for Germán Márquez (6-8). He allowed one run and seven hits in six innings.

Kopech (4-6) put in some work. He got out of some tight jams in the 2nd and 5th innings. After allowing six hits in 5 1/3 innings he was relieved by Jimmy Lambert and Joe Kelly. Kendall Graveman then pitched the eighth before Hendriks came in.
