Trouble In Paradise? Mayfield Vs. Jones

Yesterday, Baker Mayfield went on the record on GQ Magazine to say “it blows my mind” that the New York Giants selected Daniel Jones as the 6th pick in the NFL Draft.

Honestly, I think it was a misquote and I’m all for Baker Mayfield. He went to clear the air on the Barstool Sports Instagram.

But Mayfield said the context for his GQ quote — “Some people overthink it. That’s where people go wrong. They forget you’ve gotta win. … Either you have a history of winning and being that guy for your team or you don’t.”

All of the media started lashing out! It was definitely a mis-quote. Everyone CALM YOUR TITS. This is nothing that has not been said before. Baker is going to be Baker.
